SGC's Scot Macdonald, PLS and Andrew Strout attended the 2016 Trimble Dimensions User Conference hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada from November 7th to the 9th. Dimensions is Trimble’s “three-day action packed event designed for Trimble users to learn, collaborate, and network with their peers” that brings together 4,400 surveying, construction, utility, GIS, and engineering professionals. SGC, being a user of Trimble’s field equipment (GPS, Total stations) and software (RealWorks, Business Center), attended the conference to learn about new technologies and best practices. In attending the Dimensions conference, SGC’s personnel gained important insight as to how new technologies are impacting modern survey practice and how such advancements may benefit our Clients.
